Revitalizing a Commercial Building

Commed Holdings Inc. recently completed a renovation project that required fixing a number of issues. One of the main challenges was the stucco walls that didn't match, which can be a tricky issue to address. However, the team was able to expertly apply Fiberglas mesh and Drivit top coat to create a seamless match with the existing stucco.

Another challenge was mould growth, which is a common problem in buildings with high humidity or water damage. The team treated the mould with mildewcide/fungicide to eliminate the problem.

In addition to these issues, the exterior of the building needed repainting. The team painted the exterior with two colours, including the patio area on the roof, giving the building a fresh, new look. They also painted the door trim and jamb, which included all necessary prep work.

To ensure safety and efficiency, the team rented scaffolding for the duration of the project. They also tackled unexpected issues, such as repairing stucco damage and dealing with a wasp nest.

Despite the challenges, Major Decorating was able to complete the renovation with excellent results. The building now looks brand new, with beautifully matched stucco walls, a fresh coat of paint, and updated door trim and jamb. The team's attention to detail and expertise in solving unforeseen problems ensured that the renovation was a success.
